The cattery

Recently we were awarded a 5 Star Rating from North Lincs Council.  At the time of writing we are one of only three catteries in North Lincolnshire that is similarly rated by reaching the higher standards required for Animal Boarding under the DEFRA Regulations.

We are fully insured and have a maximum occupancy of 34 cats.

Located in a rural location on a 1.1 acre site surrounded by fields, the horseshoe-shaped cattery is set around a courtyard garden offering peace and quiet for our guests.

Cats have views into the garden and classical music is played from dawn to dusk.

All our pens and family suites have heated indoor areas and individual exercise areas.  The sleeping areas are thermostatically controlled  to a comfortable level. Our guests enjoy regular interaction and daily grooming. 

Each pen is equipped with raised shelving, beds and scratching posts and we provide a selection of toys.  You are welcome to bring your own bedding and toys if you think it will make your cat feel more at home.

We have 16 small pens suitable for one cat, 5 medium pens for two cats and 2 large family suites that have ample space for up to 4 cats from the same family.

It is very important that your cat has the same diet here in the cattery as they have at home which is why we ask you to bring your own food in a sufficient quantity for the duration of their stay.  We do stock a small amount of cat food for emergencies.

We serve breakfast between 8.30am - 9pm and dinner between 5pm - 6pm.  Food and water is served in our stainless steel dishes as they are more hygienic.  

We supply Dreamies and treats which are offered at bedtime with the permission of the owner.

For each visit to the cattery we will need to see your cats up to date vaccination record showing vaccines have been administered against Feline Flu and Enteritis. 

Please note that you cannot board your cat without an updated vaccination record unless a vet has stated in writing that vaccinations have not been done for a valid medical reason. 

Your cat must be on a flea control/worming programme prior to their stay at the cattery.

We will administer medications as directed but only from veterinary prescribed packaging.  

At this time we are unable to administer insulin injections and cannot therefore board cats who need these.
